Always Harry Potter Cafe in Hanoi
Right in the center of Hanoi, there exists a small cafe called Always Coffee and Butterbeer. At first glance, it may appear to be an ordinary cafe. However, if you recognize the unique Harry Potter font and Deathly Hallows symbol, you’ll soon realize this cafe is more than meets the eye.
The cafe is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall, and is located a bit far away from most of the tourist posts, but it definitely pays off to explore off the beaten path!
Inside the cafe, you’ll find a menu full of different kinds of coffee, cocktails, smoothies, and anything else you could ask for. Each cocktail is named after a potion or spell from the books. The front section of the cafe has lots of Harry Potter memorabilia, some that you can buy and some that you can just borrow for the duration that you’re there! When I visited, they also had a special offer where if you left a review on Trip Advisor, you would receive a free Deathly Hallows necklace. That’s a no brainer for me!!
There were soooo many different drinks to choose from!! Of course, I just did the classic butter beer but would love to go back and try more!
I was super excited to actually see a robe for Ravenclaw (why does everyone always forget about us??) and the back of the cafe is filled with all kinds of murals where you can get some awesome photos. Grab a wand and your house robe and go!
I was geeking out all over the place! However, even if you aren’t a die-hard Potterhead, the ambiance is still really cool and drinks are amazing for a great price (it is Vietnam after all)! Heck, I’d go because I’m dying to try some of their Harry Potter themed coffee!
Check out the cafe’s instagram to see more about this awesome cafe!
